just got back from a much needed vacation to vegas… back to work tomorrow! just wanted to do a quick post so it didn't look like i'm neglecting my blog. sorry - it's been a whirlwind of a week and i'm still trying to regroup!

in the meantime, how amazing is my peruvian vest? it was handmade from a vintage coca cola denim jacket with peruvian fabrics and then hand studded. i know. awesome.

the fit and studs totally give me a 90s vibe that i clearly have a fondness for. despite the fact that my entire recollection of the 90s consists of power rangers and gushers.

momma's 47th birthday.
she's my everything. we've been through a pretty rough patch and frankly, it made me closer to her than ever. no one gets me like the does and no one understands her every move like i do. we're truly joint. i want to give her the world but for now, all i can be is the best daughter i know how to be and hopefully one day, i'll grow up to be as responsible, reliable, and respectable as she is. <3

ps, you can get the above sweater at LF. also, those jeffrey campbells were showstoppers this weekend in vegas. people kept trying to sneakily take photos of my shoes. hopefully it was out of like and not repulsion.

i recently became mildly obsessed with romwe. basically, they are based in china and their business model appears simple. make one size for everything. that way, they don't have to worry about fit and making xs-xl. this is probably the most brilliant thing. minus the fact that they just cut out a giant part of the population that might actually want to buy from them. nonetheless, if you fit in one size fits all, look at romwe. it's rather cheap and it takes about 5 days to get your order. straight up from the factories in china. land of my peoples.

my shoe obsession continues as i replace all my "meh" shoes with gorgeous towering heels.

i bought two pairs from steve madden last night and i'd love to show you but they're not available on the steve madden site yet. also ordered a hot pink pair from topshop. this i can show you.


yes. i needed these. my current best excuse is "it's for vegas"
