multicolor chain bracelet

top: urban outfitters // jeans: armani exchange // button down: hollister co. // belt: urban outfitters // boots: dv by dolce vita // bracelet: alimonada

photography: nik sarac

alimonada graciously sent me this multicolor chain bracelet. they just restocked on their site! their collection is a mixture of edgy spikes and skulls with a feminine touch. i'm craving for their three spike necklace.

how perfect would it be over a vintage band tee for coachella?

personalized with our initials

top: brandy meville // bottoms: library // jacket: forever 21 // boots: kelsi dagger // watch: michael kors // initial bracelet: thanks to magic hand jewelry

photography: nik sarac

can't even explain how excited i was when arthur of magic hand jewelry handed me my shiny new bracelet. those who know me know that there's nothing that gets me like personalization. and no i was never a fan of those horrendous initial purses. but i love jewelry with my initials. in this case, it has mine and marc's initials. a birthday gift from arthur!

magic hand jewelry specializes in initials, lettering, and customization. seriously contemplating the calendar pendant.

birthday dinner x LAmade

dress: thanks to LAmade // clutch: JJ Winters // boots: Sam Edelman
photography: nik sarac

the people at LA Made were kind enough to send me this gorgeous tunic dress. it came just in time for my birthday dinner at rock sugar! the dress is perfectly sequined on the front side and is a silky black in the back side which has a beautiful slimming effect. this piece can definitely transition from season to season with a simple pair of sheer black tights and blazer for fall/winter or flats and a white denim jacket for spring/summer. their pieces embody the so cal lifestyle effortlessly.

i'm excited to re-style it for this spring/summer! check out their selection of "it goes with everything" pieces on their website. also check them out on facebook for amazing giveaways.

arrowhead earrings

sweater: urban outfitters // jeans: blank nyc // necklace: tiny armour // sneakers: urban outfitters // earrings: ivy's boutique

photography: nik sarac

i'm not always attracted to rainbow colors especially with my clothing but there was something so perfect about the colors in this particular rainbow-esque sweater. scored it at urban for $10. and the shoes. $10. i won.

totally love arrowheads and how pocahontas they make me feel. i got this perfect-length pair from ivy's boutique. their etsy shop has a soulful spiritual vibe. i also got a pair of feather earrings that i can't wait to wear. the owner, kathryn, is a san diego native (so cal pride) and refers to her personal style as: "Bohemian. A blend of natural, casual, elegance. " just like me, she gets her inspiration from fashion blogs, pinterest, etsy, and people. if you're ever in san diego, stop by her store and say hi. she's so sweet!

pershing square

top: urban outfitters // shoes: steve madden x LF

photography: nik sarac

i've always wanted to go to pershing square during christmas to ice skate. haven't quite made that a reality yet.

there's so much going on while we were shooting i was in a daze. fancy business people take lunches by this awkward half-pond. i, however, got kicked out of the pond because i was trespassing by stepping on the stones. didn't take it all too seriously considering the security guard walked away from me before finishing his thought.

nonetheless, i have this top in a cropped and tunic version. there's something about the galaxy print on it that i can't get enough of.

tiny armour

top & shorts: lf stores // booties: jeffrey campbell glitter litas // necklace: tiny armour

photography: nik sarac

feeling a little hippie these days. found this perfect layering necklace from tiny armour. the brass triangles dangle off the chain in a perfectly imperfect way. i can't get enough of the triangle studs and metal crochet cuff. on top of handcrafting every piece which makes it just that much more special, tiny armour practices ethical sourcing. how cool is that?

red coated denim

jeans: LF stores // top: LF stores // heels: jessica simpson (on sale) // blazer: urban outfitters // bag: balenciaga

photography: nik sarac

ran into this amazing neon art downtown.

conveniently enough, the artist, CS Navarrate aka D R M W L K R was standing around waiting for the shop to open to finish his interior project. visit his facebook here.

nik and i are on a mission to visit his 90ft art piece near little tokyo. think more chevron neon but larger scale. epic.

i have a new obsession with wax coated jeans. especially when they're read. these jeans fit incredibly comfortably and i'm convinced they go with everything.

danger dogs

top: hollister co. // shorts: one teaspoon sailor shorts // sandals: sam edelman

photography: nik sarac

a worthy venture to santee alley. danger dogs are exactly what they imply. dangerous. not because they're ridiculously spicy. mostly because you're not sure what they are going to do to your system.

la weather has been unpredictable so i try to take advantage of whatever sunshine comes my way. revisited my hollister co. blouse from way back when. i used to be a very hollister/abercrombie ONLY kind of girl. i've moved on since then to a little more variety. like these one teaspoon shorts! my favorite brand for shorts by far. the distressing is perfectly man made, something i could never DIY myself.

have a great weekend!
