and this post marks the last of the vegas shoots. there was some kind of fantastic pink reflection from one of the excalibur buildings that made me look rosy.

looking at these photos makes me really miss vegas. i want to lay poolside and get a weird tan from my cut out monokini. i sense another trip very soon..

i'm not confident that this ear cuff has any kind of practicality but i do know that i've never felt so compelled to buy an accessory before in my life. #iexaggerateforeffect

but really, how amazing is this ear cuff? definitely worth the $25. it fits rather comfortably and adds the perfect little oomph to my draping long hair.

when in vegas, you can wear whatever you want and get away with it. literally. pretty much my excuse for this ensemble. probably not something i'd walk around in out and about LA but i was wearing a hell of a lot more clothes than most people in LV. #notevenexaggerating.

do wish i had more excuses to prance around in a bustier though. they're so fun and daring.

the wind from the cars made the perfect wind effect to showcase this dress. i'm not really one for crazy prints and whatnot but the combination on this dress was too good to pass. and the fact that there was only one left, and it was my size, meant that this was destiny. the dress is super lightweight but not in the way that makes your underwear shine through. excellent.

instavegas - anniversary edition

brief photo diary of my recent trip to vegas with the boyf for our 1 year anniversary. fyi, we ate at 5 buffets. i was foodcoma-ed leaving vegas.

first stop! big boys in barstow, ca for a semi-midway lunch break.

loved my stay at the mandalay bay! any hotel that provides me complimentary l'occitane products is an A+ in my book.

favorite sushi restaurant ever. too bad it's all the way in vegas. $24.95 ayce. unreal.

discovered my reaction to soft shell crab isn't as violent as it used to be. yum!

can't say i wouldn't sacrifice a few good meals to me back to this poolside. that's saying a WHOLE lot. and it's not just about the pool. it's about the whole vibe of that whole weekend.

i have more bikinis than any human needs and yet i'm still always searching for that one with that extra something special. mara hoffman has done a fantastic job of wooing me.

one of my favorite things about my iphone, probably my favorite thing in general, is all of the awesome photo editing applications. believe me, if you've ever had a blackberry, it's like switching from paint to photoshop, if even. here are some photos i edited from vegas using my iphone.





all the pretty ladies playing with pink props...

nik and i camping out for the extra comforters. housekeeping tried to pass off extra large towels as down feather comforters. you best bet i made them send us new ones. and to ensure we didn't miss the knocking, nik and i camped out my the door...

someone tried to stab me with a corkscrew. :(
