my first cirque de soleil show was mystere in vegas and i had such a memorable experience that i felt it was worth going to another one of their shows.

our experience started off rocky with tons of issues with your tickets… but honestly, it's the company you keep at the end of the day that matters most. and i had a lovely night despite all of the mishaps.

i loved how summery my outfit was. the dress is extremely comfortable and the shoes double as a weapon. just kidding. although the spikes are pretty sharp…

there's something about rodeo that makes you feel fancier than you really are. walking down rodeo (and for those who actually live in LA, it's not just rodeo drive, it's wilshire, santa monica and such) makes you feel like you're in a movie. #truestorybro

i've always been a huge fan of white shorts and jeans. sometimes i have a lot of trouble matching regular blue denim with certain tops but white always goes with everything. at least in my wardrobe.

not sure if anyone watched sabrina the teenage witch way back when but there's a scene where salem calls friday friggyah and ever since then, so have i.

much needed weekend with family and friends.

hotel motel

i had a lot of trouble maneuvering this bodysuit on. took me a solid couple tries before i realized i was supposed to slip it on from the top down. there are little buttons on the lady part area that allow for a t-shirt style dressing. unfortunately, the buttoning part was beyond difficult and required some very awkward matrix-like positions.

ultimately, i'm just not a bodysuit person. takes way more effort than i'm willing to invest. fortunately, this piece was only $5 on plndr.

these shots were taken a few steps outside my apartment building. we were busting a mission that failed miserably. FYI, chick-fil-a on hollywood and highland is closed on sundays! we arrived only to turn away awed by the fact that a fast food chain was closed on a sunday....

we ended up at mcafe and then the grove where we ran into haylie duff. for those who don't know, she's hilary duff's older sister. they were cool back when i was 13.

i highly recommend the girl with the dragon tattoo 1) because rooney mara is seriously amazing, and 2) because daniel craig's still amazing. also because the movie is well written and every single actor in that movie is really good.

today was definitely a "i have nothing to wear in this sea of clothing" day. therefore i threw on the simplest of pieces which always creates an effortless look. black skinny jeans, chucks, white tank, black jacket. done and done.

and of course, my giant bag that is more or less a carry-on. i've wanted this since my obsession with henri bendel began in 2009 after becoming more than in love with gossip girl. my bag collection now spans 10 bags. oh yes.
