took a few shots while waiting in line to audition for america's got talent.

jk.

although i think working right next to the orpheum theater is pretty exciting. they often have something going on there. once when i got off work, abbey lee kershaw was shooting right where these shots were taken.

6 flags tomorrow! hell yeahhhh. is it sad i'm really looking forward to the pizza? #fatchildconfessions

& chasing pavements

shorts: minkpink top: audrey shoes: jeffrey campbell lita bag: alexander wang necklace: nineties child

got these eye-catching jeffrey campbells at LF's sale on larchmont. i'm kinda maybe sorta obsessed with LF. their current sale is 60% off the entire store. um.... WHAT? yeah. so go.

as for me, japantown later today to comb through japanese magazines searching for Chan Luu. all this hunting has made me realize how much i actually like japanese fashion. i'm slowly but surely becoming more asian.

craving boba again....

& to tell you the truth, i miss everything

"i've been high
i've been low
i've been yes
and i've been oh hell no.
i've been rock & roll and disco
won't you save me san francisco?

i've been stop
i've been go
i've been yes
i've been oh hell no"

there comes a point in life when you simply have to learn to let people go. really.

i've always been persevering. a positive and negative trait all bundled up in a basket of joy. it makes me a very hardworker who will keep on going like the energizer bunny. that aside, it makes me a terrible person. sorta. i guess in the realm of friendships and relationships, the fine line between keep trying to make it work, versus, abandon ship has always been fuzzy for me. yesterday i did not have a very good evening. that's for sure. and when i thought about who do i call? i'm miserable?

it was that moment that i realized that i need to learn to depend on absolutely no one. i guess reverting back to how i was in high school. no more relying on others to help me find happiness. i'm going to be a lone soldier and do that myself. friends can be the greatest but friends once they start making you cry your eyes out for reasons that don't exist, it's time to move on.

i guess to sum up my train of thought... learn to find happiness on your own. at the end of it all, you're with yourself 24/7. the most important relationship you have is the one you have with yourself. don't ever forget to love yourself first because you can't love anyone else without knowing how to love yourself.

that said, what a fucking shitty weekend!

highlights... JOHN ROBIN! lunch & shopping and a reminder that there are truly kind people in the world. lychee pinkberry too. ummm yes please. asian yogurt flavors and i'm sold.

& i can tell you my love for you will still be strong

I never will forget those nights
I wonder if it was a dream
Remember how you made me crazy?
Remember how I made you scream
Now I don’t understand what happened to our love
But babe, I’m gonna get you back
I’m gonna show you what I’m made of

recent discovery... fresh.

i'm in love with almost all their products. their mascara could afford to be less black eye esque. but their other products smell amazing! and it's all natural. yum yum.

when i'm feeling thoughtful, i recollect on my high school days where my "style" evolved quite drastically. i'm 21 now.

timeline of my tragedies
ages 0-4: um really? probably my sister's hand me downs. vintage?
ages 5-10: fancy fancy. my mom liked to dress me up.
ages 11-13: uniform school. solid colored polos. black or khakhi slacks. i do recall free dress fridays like once a month in which i made it a point to wear my super cool size 16 glitter BLASTED flare jeans from limited too. yes. i also had light blue corduroys. :O
age 14: i went to a pretty ghetto high school. my adopted style consisted of rocawear, southpole, and so forth. i loved that gaudy rocawear denim jacket... so much.
age 15: cali cool. sorta. roxy, billabong, oneill, split... ya know. i was working on becoming some kind of pro surfer apparently. i only shopped at pacsun. ross occasionally had tank tops that were like $8. that was big spending to me. oh jenny...
age 16: the discovery of abercrombie & hollister. i was still too fat to wear most of their things but this marked the transition.
age 17: found the treadmill. 40 lbs later i was dipped head to toe in a&f and hollister.
age 18: still dipped. but discovered urban outfitters... the beginning of what would become a major obsessions & lifestyle.
age 19: the move to the big city without my mom telling me what i can and cannot wear allowed me to really experiment. i really liked big titties at this point.
age 20: finally found my style. basically, i don't care. i wear what i like but i lean more towards neutrals. and olive green is a neutral to me. but my favorite stores are urban outfitters, lf, etc.
age 21: well we'll just have to wait and see won't we?

& if you can't do the math

Then get out of the equation
I am calling you back
This is * 69

Is it a minus or a plus
Does enough equal enough
If you can't do the math
Then nothing adds up
Tell me why I'm here

hilary duff- the math
because it's the only math song i have.

remember pi day? in high school, my rather passionate calculus/statistics teacher slash art liason promoter would make us celebrate and to be honest, as lame as it was throughout my teen years, i miss the memories.

please note i was super cool in high school. like beyond.

of course i had to wear my pi shirt on pi day... :) very unlikely me to wear dowdy t-shirts though. like those one you get for free with no shape? ugh
