i'm very convinced that peggy sue's diner-saur park is a crime scene hot spot. there is the most eclectic hodgepodge of random. ducks. a murky pond. strange statues in the form of death. a stage with a broken light. yeah. what's the CSI hotline?

threw together an outfit and naturally i liked it better than most things i wear. felt very free people inspired. i got the headband off a little cart at the mall and it turns out the girl handmakes all of her goods. #sweet.

big sister nancy got me a few things on her last trip to new york... though she did buy me american apparel and schlep it all the way back to LA... you know... because it's not made in downtown LA 2 miles from my office... <3

amongst the trove of goodies, she got me this amazing turquoise headband that has a metal wire in it that you can bend. also... she got me the floral sweater i had been dying to get!

my giant yellow mug was the perfect addition to the turquoise and white (one of my favorite combinations... brought to my attention by the one and only rachel zoe)

slept with the lights out last night. it wasn't so bad. my baby harp seal made me feel safe. yes i'm almost 21 and i sleep with a stuffed animal.

on my mission to spend as much money as i can, i went shopping after work last night. is it evil that i get secretly excited when a store goes out of business? i mean... it signifies economic turmoil and a recession that doesn't seem to be letting up. BUT on a brighter note, i get $1200 worth of merchandise for $200? i think that's the best fiscal stimulation ever! finally replaced my sad rebecca minkoff wallet (that i've had for 3 months... and is already peeling!) with a fancy michael kors wallet that the very old man at macy's picked out for me. he had good taste! what can i say! he also said i looked fancy and like i was going somewhere. hell yeah! i was going to ralphs! gotta keep up appearances with my meat cutters.
