i recently became mildly obsessed with romwe. basically, they are based in china and their business model appears simple. make one size for everything. that way, they don't have to worry about fit and making xs-xl. this is probably the most brilliant thing. minus the fact that they just cut out a giant part of the population that might actually want to buy from them. nonetheless, if you fit in one size fits all, look at romwe. it's rather cheap and it takes about 5 days to get your order. straight up from the factories in china. land of my peoples.

my shoe obsession continues as i replace all my "meh" shoes with gorgeous towering heels.

i bought two pairs from steve madden last night and i'd love to show you but they're not available on the steve madden site yet. also ordered a hot pink pair from topshop. this i can show you.


yes. i needed these. my current best excuse is "it's for vegas"

tonight's festivities include perusing melrose ave and stopping by ron herman at fred segal to pay my respects to the night that changed my life. 2 years ago, i met chan and her team at FNO and thus began my internship. and the rest is history.



i guess it's a little tragic that i'm most excited about the food trucks. OH and wearing my jeffrey campbell spike litas. they're sold out and i have them! i feel mildly important.



also, my style stalker trustfund dress arrived today. that is a very snug fitting dress. lettuce and lemon diet in tow.

some days, i don't feel like wearing heels. especially on the days i know have to do a lot of walking. i've managed to, for the most part, rid my shoe closet of the heels that were designed as torture tools for women's feet. however, some pairs i can't help but keep, whether for sentimental reasons or because they're just that amazing. almost every pair of heels i have now can withstand some serious walking. like to and from the ladies room. i kid.

apparently on this day, i wantd comfort over fashion. baggy white t shirts are my everything and that muubaa jacket has got to be one of my best sample sale buys.

i'm getting a haircut today. it's decided. i need a change and i will not wuss out this time.

i went on a style stalker splurge this weekend. i had to have it all. i love this brand to death. turns out i'm a huge fan of Australian labels. who knew? their pieces are much more creative and unique. i feel like American fashion is mass produced and everything not only looks the same, but is for the most part, incredibly poorly made. don't get me wrong, i love me some forever 21 at times but i for the most part search for more unique pieces. unfortunately, this has a much heftier price tag.

turns out i will be going to vegas twice in October... turns out it will be two back to back weekends. turns out i'm going to need a lot more pretty clothes than i thought.

good thing i went on a major shopping splurge this past week that includes 8 pairs of shoes... 8 style stalker pieces, a few t shirts, 2 skirts, 1 blazer, 1 sweater, and a dress.

bad thing is i'm going to have to save a lots of moneys for my two vegas trips.

i think stylestalker is probably one of my favorite brands along with free people and one teaspoon. found this picture of a man covering his eyes by la cienega and third. i'm not really an art aficionado but i was incredibly drawn to the black and white. when editing photos, if something has weird lighting and doesn't look right, the black and white filter is my go to and the picture instantly turns artsy. try it.

went to LF on larchmont yesterday and picked up basic knits as well as these:
