clearly, these photos were not taken today as today is gloomy and rainy. and i, i am wearing shorts. and yes, i hauled my blanket to work.

other than a white tee shirt + skinny jeans + leather jacket combo, dresses are perfect for "I HAVE NO CLOTHES" days that populate far more than i'd prefer.

i especially like this dress primarily for it's professional & very victoria beckham inspired shape. the hardware and tulip skirt leave it somewhere close to space martian but not quite there.

also, this weekend was our secret santa reveal and because i was manipulated into believing nik that he got someone else, i was pleasantly and genuinely shocked when he in fact had gotten me. i am incredibly happy with my black faux fur pillow that marc says has replaced him in my slumber. and of course, he got me a chanel lip gloss. complete in it's mini chanel bag and chanel gold wrapping paper. divine.

drive safely as i definitely hydroplaned this morning.

happy 20th bebe

the babes is finally 20. hitting the 2_'s. i feel a bit less creeperlike.

i baked him pokeball cupcakes and a pikachu cake. pika was a bit more abstract than i intended. nonetheless, the pokeballs were very very cute in my personal opinion.

we celebrated 2 weekends ago in vegas. snapshots!

LA county fair

this past weekend was couples weekend. i spent friday with marc and his siblings and their respective significant others at Halloween Horror Nights. i spent saturday with marc again and randy and lauren. we went to the LA county fair the last weekend it was going on and randomly ran into Jessica Alba and her family. it was very nostalgic of my childhood and the countless hours spent at circus circus on my annual family trip to las vegas. the LA county fair was definitely targeted towards a more suburban crowd. there was a "shopping place" that consisted of a series of booths that were essentially "As Seen on TV" infomercials. and yet i found great pleasure being with great company.


yes we fell for it and bought the pictures we could have easily taken ourselves. probably more centered too.

frankly, this year was really boring. i did get good exercise though and was in good company which makes everything better.

i ended up buying two pairs of shoes from steve madden. probably way over priced but that's ok... i was feeling spendy.
