random mural in palm springs. not sure why but it gives me an "el paso, tx" feel. not that i've ever been to el paso. or texas for that matter. but if people have preconceived notions of what LA is like, i'm allowed to pass judgement on other cities too.

really couldn't tell you what i was thinking when i packed a long sleeved LEATHER top for palm springs. to say i wanted to cuddle with an ice sculpture would barely describe how uncomfortable i felt in this top.

lesson learned. no long sleeves, no leather.

happy friday! hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of july. can't wait to share what i wore for my festivities.

i'm convinced i need to pack my bags and take a much needed vacation to austrailia. primarily because it appears that every label i fall in love with is from austrailia. one teaspoon, style stalker, keepsake the label, finders keepers... it's getting unfair. what are your favorite labels?

this parking lot structure literally had one of the best views of vegas, and one of the worst. one side was the gorgeous golden trump hotel and the other was a skeezy lingerie shop. best of both worlds i guess. just kidding.

love the lace cut out in this dress. probably why i adore style stalker. they have the most carefully thought out details in their pieces.

when in vegas, you can wear whatever you want and get away with it. literally. pretty much my excuse for this ensemble. probably not something i'd walk around in out and about LA but i was wearing a hell of a lot more clothes than most people in LV. #notevenexaggerating.

do wish i had more excuses to prance around in a bustier though. they're so fun and daring.

my one teaspoon obsession continues… so much perfection in one pair of shorts. it's unreal.

this wildfox monokini won me over with the giant pink heart. clearly i was so excited i wore it as a top.

had dinner at urth caffe tonight. gorged over my huge bowl of potato leek soup and a massive turkey panini. and yes, the rumors are true. their organic green tea honey boba is the best. and i've had a lot of boba.

heard the a capella version of this song and it's amazing. reminds me why kelly clarkson will remain my favorite american idol.

i went on a style stalker splurge this weekend. i had to have it all. i love this brand to death. turns out i'm a huge fan of Australian labels. who knew? their pieces are much more creative and unique. i feel like American fashion is mass produced and everything not only looks the same, but is for the most part, incredibly poorly made. don't get me wrong, i love me some forever 21 at times but i for the most part search for more unique pieces. unfortunately, this has a much heftier price tag.

turns out i will be going to vegas twice in October... turns out it will be two back to back weekends. turns out i'm going to need a lot more pretty clothes than i thought.

good thing i went on a major shopping splurge this past week that includes 8 pairs of shoes... 8 style stalker pieces, a few t shirts, 2 skirts, 1 blazer, 1 sweater, and a dress.

bad thing is i'm going to have to save a lots of moneys for my two vegas trips.
