final days of 2011

a few momentous events of 2011:

-moved in with big sis, Dr. Ly
-graduated from college with a BS in business admin
-turned 21
-marc albano as of may 28th, 2011
-e-commerce & social media manager at chan luu
-started a weekend dinner ritual with the rents
-started paying my own rent, utilities, internet, phone bill, etc.
-the establishment of the 3Bs. big sis, best friend, boy friend
-extreme advancement of my blog due in large part to best friend nik sarac.

i'm writing this as i wait for my sister to get home so we can celebrate our first new year together in a long time.

last days of 2011:

today was definitely a "i have nothing to wear in this sea of clothing" day. therefore i threw on the simplest of pieces which always creates an effortless look. black skinny jeans, chucks, white tank, black jacket. done and done.

and of course, my giant bag that is more or less a carry-on. i've wanted this since my obsession with henri bendel began in 2009 after becoming more than in love with gossip girl. my bag collection now spans 10 bags. oh yes.

i ordered mine yesterday and it shipped out today! can't wait to compare the shades to the original naked palette.

didn't really realize how blinding i was until i looked over the screens from this shoot. glittery gold and bright bright royal blue. a lot to take in, i know. nonetheless, i really love those skinny jeans. they're the perfect length for me. being the incredible midget that i am (without my towering heels), i need to get every inseam taken in. and these happen to be ankle skimmers for most people. for me, they fall right at my ankles. like that's how they're supposed to be. done deal.

tonight i'm venturing to san gabriel to celebrate my 7th month with marc. and no trip out there is complete without a giant half & half beverage.

instachristmas 2011

a little bit of photo overload. none of which was i donning anything worth noting. at one point, i wore 2 sweatpants, 2 pairs of socks, a tank top, tee shirt, and sweater. hey, winter in palmdale is bone chilling! it's the mojave desert! nonetheless, a documentary of my wittle famfam and our christmas together.

new in: betsey johnson maybill booties

Finally!! Can't wait to wear these. The color i initially wanted was sold out in my size but maybe it was fate. I'm actually liking these a lot better.

i've never worn sweater leggings before but i must say they were like sweatpants with a snugger fit. same rule applies; leggings are not PANTS. h&m has some pretty great colors though i've never actually tried theirs.

holiday shopped a smidge yesterday after work and picked up 2 dresses for my january vegas trip as well as these incredible shoes that inspire the "which corner are you working?"

i pretty much only wear tights during the winter and it serves a very full function of keeping my legs warm because i am not a pant-wearer. i became obsessed with these tights when i saw countless images circulating tumblr and after some intense hunting, i ordered my pair from london. they, as well as some other fancy tights, are however available at urban outfitters.

since i have the rare luxury of having friday off, tomorrow is the beginning of my 4 day weekend!
