nail art: glittery & bright

my current nail polish: OPI lincoln park after dark. i'm thinking of trying ombre glitter nails this weekend. does help that my mom is a professional manicurist and lugs her toolkit to my apartment every week. her recent adorable addition? a portable UV ray light box that dries nails quickly. pretty much what you seen in the salon but portable.

the beauty of shopping end of season is scoring pieces like this sheer floral maxi skirt from nordstrom for $18. the sad part is waiting til it's [semi] - appropriate to actually wear it. can't say how much i adore socal winters. they're more like a breezy spring day.

floral lace + flare denim

lace tops are probably one of my top 10 wardrobe staples. they go well with anything from denim to leather to just lace. the delicate detail is incredibly feminine but bohemian at the same time. i'm not really a fan of anything too glamorous. i prefer my clothing looser and more undone.

so glad we managed to catch some of the sun in these photos. it actually drizzled and was rather gloomy the day we shot these. nothing stops me from wearing strapless, mildly sheer tops though. pleasantly surprised with how comfortable and fitted these jeans were. and for $10.50, i'm feeling pangs of regret for not getting another pair.
