saw this image circulating tumblr and it inspired me to go a little tie dye. also feel pretty inspired to make my own dress with a huge square of fabric. i have to have at least one friend from fashion design that can sew it together for me... any takers? if not, i'll just have to staple it together. ok fine i'm not that tragic but i must confess, i've never used a sewing machine in my life.

youtube lovin'

two things that are very important to know about me.

1. i am very very (almost too very) interested in what people's closets look like. something about seeing a closet i can only, at the moment, dream about. also, usually gives me organization tips although given my space limitation, there's not much i can really apply to my real life.

2. i love watching fashion/blogger videos on youtube. i can spend hours and hours pouring over styling videos and behind the scenes snippets.

and this is very very random. but wtf? i've never seen this??? anyways... i love/hate the kardashians. love that they're real people. hate that they can be so bratty/dumb... like me :)

working for a jewelry designer these past two years has truly opened my eyes to all the beautiful craftsmanship that is worldwide. my jewelry taste is incredibly eclectic. i do lean towards pieces that have a unique appeal. i'm not sure how i would really describe it so i guess that means i like things out of the ordinary. i like illusions and pieces that have the "how do you wear that?" mystification.

that being said, pretty obsessed with Bjørg right now.

plaid cape coat

i got this coat at LF's last year's end of fall sale which conveniently fell into spring directly thereafter. and living in LA, there really isn't a need for a sherpa lined plaid coat to begin with so i had to store it away until now. although the fit is a bit boxy and gives me a very top heavy illusion (i hope), i am still pretty obsessed with the design.
