snakeskin pants

pants & top: romwe
bag: balenciaga
shoes: l.a.m.b.
sunnies: prada

some guy literally drove past me in downtown LA in his shiny infiniti and reversed his vehicle to ask me where i got these pants. my one moment of fame. just kidding.

but really. i love these pants. and yes he did do that. they're actually cotton and SOLD OUT suckasss. but there is a suitable legging version though the material is unknown and one of the reasons i'm so in love with these pants is the easy breezy cotton fabric.

also, anything with cut outs and my heart is won. especially on the sleeves. the sunglasses were 1/2 that i got in vegas on sale. buy one get one free. the other d&g ones are still dormant on my sunglasses tray.

also, it's raining in LA which is a rarity. thank freaking god. and by rain i mean a slight drizzle just enough to mist my hair and make my black car attract even more dirt. awesome.

vegas photo diary #2

just getting to the cosmo! holding our new fancy glasses...

birthday boy's new water bottle. duh.

getting ready for some pooltime sunshine.

whilst at a pit stop in bakersfield, we perused the 99cent store and found these heinous temporary tattoos. tatting ourselves before heading to the pool seemed genius at the time.

gosh the weather was so beautiful...

forum shoppes post swimming

bday boy picked up a fancy black diamond david yurman and got the royal treatment.

still in a daze... $1600 later...

the only thing stopping me was the fact that we were on our way to wicked spoon... only the best buffet ever.

yes. clothing still fits even post buffet.

burn mark still visible. :(

we did not bring space savers to take comforters home. no sir.

midget.

anyhow, this coming holiday season, i will be spending another two weekends in vegas. i will most likely be in vegas for new years as well as ms lauren's 21st birthday as well. i'm starting to grow very fond of vegas. not sure if i have a large enough wardrobe to support all these trips though. good thing i have time to stock up my wardrobe. :) definitely went on a small forever 21 shopping spree. some of the things i got:

hooded scarf poncho thing. this image does not do it justice.

what's cropped for regular humans is perfect length for me...

sooooo soft. "suedette"

red "leather" pants

pants & sweater: romwe
bag: balenciaga
shoes: sam edelman zoyla

i was more than surprised that these fit me. and pretty comfortably at that. however, i chose a hot day to wear them and i conveniently had to walk around downtown LA with them on. my legs were definitely sweating. they've been stowed away until mid December... when LA actually has some mildly cold weather. or i could use them as leg saunas. whichever.

lately, i've been wanting everything red. i can't explain it. i just think it's my new favorite "neutral." i had a green kick for a while. i was pretty convinced olive green would go with pretty much everything. i still think so.

placed another order on Romwe... here's my latest splurge as well as how i want to wear everything

with beige knee high socks peeking over tan knee high boots and a faux fur vest.

with nude ankle buckle flats and a cream scarf

with a white v neck t shirt tucked in with black lace up wedges and a giant gold agate necklace

with a loose sheer chiffon button down top and black studded oxfords

umm not sure yet. but i needed it. it was on saleeeee. (jacket)

probably going to give this one to my sister. it was so pretty! someone needed to have it...

with white skinny jeans and jeffrey campbell spike lita platforms

the skirt with a cropped black tank and nude oxford flats

i don't really share how i plan on wearing things but i guess it doesn't hurt to start...

have a happy weekend!

knee high boots... with fringe

i love knee high boots. unfortunately, it's incredibly difficult for me to find pairs that fit correctly because i'm vertically challenged and my calves are on steroids. nonetheless, i love these ones! they're house of harlow. what doesn't nicole richie do perfectly. it was time to retire my madden by steve madden ones that i got years ago. they had holes in the soles... probably the few and far between times when i've actually worn something out that much. most pieces get one-two wears if they're lucky.

on a personal level, i'm pretty grumpy today. poo. hopefully tomorrow is a better day!
