working at chan luu has its major perks. for one, i get to buy things at sample sale price. and our sample sale prices are amazing. considering the employee discount that i get...

our RTW is relatively newly youthful and playful. i'm somewhat obsessed with the spring RTW. the fall 2011 RTW samples came back from our new york showroom so the girls and i picked through them. a few of the items i snagged:

i got about a dozen items... i know. i love our RTW! you should really check it out if you haven't already. the pieces are easily transformable from day to night and spring to summer. although the color schemes are more technically fall or spring, i feel the collections are truly interchangeable which is definitely worth the investment.

ahhh yes the last photos before my haircut. not that my hair is much different now... i have bangs now. also, i've been using a double barrel curling iron to give my hair curls. as if i'd use a curling iron for any other purpose... i still need to master the curling with a straightening iron technique. that was my sole reason for getting one to begin with. obviously i wasn't trying to straighten my hair...

those heels are probably one of the most comfortable pairs i've owned in a long time. i walked 2 miles in them and i was still standing.



admittedly, i'm not a fan of much of jessica simpson's products, some of her shoes are just so amazing i need two of them. for instance, these. i got them in black and dusty orange.

i'm not sure why people are so terrified of white jeans. then again, i'm not really afraid to wear much of anything. just own it! besides... i hate the color of blue jeans. i tend to lean towards more black, white, and super dark blue.

zipper detailing always adds an edgy flair to anything. i like them in the most inappropriate places. like the back of my calves.

tickets booked to vegas for the 7th-10th of october. my 75% vegan diet is in tow. life is looking up.

also, my life would be looking a lot upper if i had the black House of Harlow 1960 studded clutch. there are a few more colors and variations but i think these two are my favorite. $195. necessary? methinks so.

urban renewal

there are very few things related to shopping that i'm terrible at but thrift store shopping is definitely one of them. i just can't do it. things just never fit right on me i guess. however, i love urban outfitters' urban renewal where they take pieces that are thrfit shoplike and make it into more modern wearable pieces.

& can't walk a mile in my YSLs

ever since i heard this song in my cardio [striptease] class at the gym, it's been one of my theme songs for empowerment. haha. and no i did not learn a single "move" from that class. i am a failure. i know.

this weekends universal studios trip was less than ideal but nonetheless, i was taught the value of true friendship and also, that my best friend screams like a 6 year old girl. universal will always have such a special place in my heart. it brings back memories as it was my first job ever. and naturally, nothing from the gift shops were appealing. i really wanted to take home the curious george costume though. so cute!

on another note, i want to go to the LA county fair. i have dreams about it. granted they're more like thoughts during the day... but still.
